Woman held over pensioner murder - BBC News

Police investigating the homicide of an 81-year-old woman at her place in Surrey have got arrested a 43-year-old woman.

Joyce Cregeen was establish with multiple thrust lesions in Sefton Road, Epsom, last Thursday. She had lived alone since the decease of her hubby in 1997.

Officers said there had been no mark of a forced entry to the house.

Police arrested a local adult female in connexion with her decease on Friday morning, who is being questioned at Guildford Police Station.

Mrs Cregeen, who worked in an administrative civilian function for the City of Greater London Police before retiring, was described by neighbors as a "nice old lady".
